Overview
UNIVO UPA-304 series silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor core is the core component (OEM) for manufacturing pressure sensors and pressure transmitters. It is an imported chip with high performance, all solid state and high reliability. As a high performance pressure sensing element, it can be easily amplified and assembled into a transmitter with standard signal output.
Application
Process control in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power, aviation, aerospace, medical equipment, automobile, HVAC and other industries.
Process: The diffused silicon pressure sensitive chip is packaged into the 316L stainless steel shell, and the external pressure is transferred to the sensitive chip through the stainless steel diaphragm and the silicon oil sealed inside. The sensitive chip does not directly contact the measured medium, forming a full solid structure for pressure measurement. Therefore, the product can be used in various occasions, including harsh corrosive media environment. Fluoroelastomer "O" ring is used for pressure sealing, which is convenient for installation.

1 During installation, a small amount of vacuum grease should be evenly applied to the surface of the "O" ring.
2 Push the core into the cavity with uniform force along the axial direction of the cavity. Note that the "O" ring cannot be damaged.
3. The diaphragm of the core is a pressure sensitive part. Please do not touch it with your fingers or hard objects during use.
4 The "O" ring is a suspension seal, which is a very reliable static seal. No other sealing methods are required. It can be used in a 40MPa pressure environment under normal conditions.
5 When the pressure exceeds 25MPa, it needs to be equipped with a combination of retaining rings, and the sealing pressure can reach 400MPa.
6 It is not easy to press hard when assembling the small range core.
