   Overview   

GHSER 750 series 3/4 inch diameter, springback DC LVDTs launched by Macro Sensors are widely used in various position measurement and diameter measurement applications. This series of sensors are solid, sealed, and completely made of stainless steel, meeting the requirements of general industrial use. In order to resist various harsh environments, the coil winding is sealed and packaged to reach the protection level of IEC IP-68. The electrical end is installed radially, with PT02A-10-6P connector, which is more conducive to places with strict size requirements. Butt plugs are supplied with the product. Through hole design allows air cleaning of the bearing, eliminating possible contaminants.


The sensor consists of a rebound shaft, which runs inside the precision sleeve bearing and is connected to the LVDT core. The use of precision sleeve bearings allows measurements to reach a repeatability of 0.6 microns (0.000025 inches) or higher. The probe connected to the spring can be freely retracted. Depending on the environment, the pressure on the spring can range from 6 ounces to 20 ounces. The probe provided is AGD9 standard, made of quenched black tool steel, and can be completely interchanged with other AGD probes.


Embedded electronics enable the position sensor to use DC input and generate a pre calibrated DC output. The outputs of the GHSER 750 series can be used with a variety of PLCs, digital indicators, A/D converters, computer data processing and QC data collection systems.


The range of GHSER 750 series sensors ranges from 2.5 mm (0.100 in.) to 100.0 mm (4.00 in.). The best straight line generated by the least squares method in statistics is used. Its maximum linear error is ± 0.10% of the full range output.
